1. What motivates you?
Personally, Family. You Live for them. Professionally, Getting people healthy. I love teaching family, friends, and patients. Curing not controlling disease. Helping people get to their optimal health potential. Maintaining health and warding off disease.

2. Describe a difficult situation you were in and how you overcame it?
I’ve had cancers, gained weight, got inactive, and metabolically deranged. From such experiences, your life flashes in front of you. First, you have to awaken spiritually, emotionally, then physically. All of it is simply a lesson. When you bring that attitude to the table, you starting fixing things. The same energy that placed you in a situation can be transformed to the energy that will reverse the process. I started eating healthy. That was the start and Simple as that.

3. What are your goals for the future?
Getting into Integrative medicine and Functional medicine. Perhaps opening a bookstore and health food store one day. Writing a book. Financial independence, so I can do the things I love to do – like reading and art- making sandcastles. Having all my kids complete schooling and reaching their educational goals.

4. What’s your favorite snack?
Whole Almonds and some coffee. Or a nut bar. yogurt – chobani. Green smoothies. Fruits especially lansones.

5. What is your favorite quote?
Nothing in particular nowadays. But I would have to say, “All is well !”
