Raquel
Raquel (age 10) lives in an adobe home with her mother, grandmother and two aunts. Her father left them when she was very young and has never been in touch. Raquel’s mother works as a maid but she is only allowed to come home on the weekend. Therefore, Raquel’s grandmother cares for her during the week. Her two aunts help to support the family’s basic needs by selling fruit on the street everyday. Raquel is a very sociable girl. She loves to sing in church and play with friends. She is very happy that she will finally feel better and have more energy now that her heart is healed. Until now, Raquel was operated on January 16, 2015 and is on his way to a healthy recovery.
A portion of every sale of pHresh greens is lovingly donated to the Gift of Life International to help save lives of children in need all around the world. Together with Freshens which gave us the opportunity to not only sell our products in there stores, but provided us with the resources to help save Priscila life and the lives of 5 other children so far.
